India: Police on scene after 2 dead, multiple injured in Srinagar bus attack

A heavy police presence could be seen along the motorway on the outskirts of Srinagar, after an attack left two officers dead and several injured aboard a police bus on Monday.
Officers were patrolling the area after suspects fired at the busload of policemen in the main city of Indian-controlled Kashmir.
According to officials, the area has been cordoned off and a search operation has begun to locate the attackers.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to the families of the security personnel who were killed in the “terror attack.”
