Afghan refugees rallied outside the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) office in Jakarta on Monday, calling the authorities to accelerate the resettlement process.
Demonstrators demanded more clarity on their fate as the refugees are still waiting to be sent to the reception countries.
Police dispersed the crowd following a dispute at the rally and arrested several protesters.
Afghan refugees returned to the streets after voicing their concerns last August during a demonstration.
