Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi made his first formal visit to Bushehr nuclear power plant and evaluated its development on Friday.
After touring the nuclear power plant, the President commented on Iran’s nuclear programme, saying, “The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly stated that it considers the peaceful use of nuclear energy necessary.”
He emphasised Iran’s lack of development in this regard, and the need to use the energy to facilitate people lives.
According to Raisi, the capacity of the Bushehr nuclear power plant will be tripled in future.
