Immunocompromised residents received their fourth doses of the COVID-19 vaccine at Sheba Medical Centre, Ramat Gan, on Friday.
On Thursday, the Health Ministry announced that a very limited amount of people with weak immune systems, as well as medical personnel, would be offered fourth vaccine doses.
The decision to give second COVID-19 boosters to the rest of the Israeli population is still pending.
