Israel: Plane loaded full of aid headed towards Ukraine

Officials loaded a plane with aid set for Ukraine at Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv on Tuesday.

Cargo trucks transported aid packed in packages to the plane, while workers placed them on a conveyor belt, which moved them into the plane.

“So what you can see in front of you, that’s the third plane with a lot of equipment inside it. We are sending to Ukraine thousands of winter tents, blankets, sleeping bags, coats, water cleansing systems and also 17 tons of medical equipment supplied by the Israeli ministry of health,” stated eputy head of MASHAV Einat Shlain.

This thing is much needed, it’s a good will gesture, MFA and MASHAV are very focused in humanitarian aid on these hard times and I think that this operation - 100 tonnes of equipment on one day to Ukraine is unprecedented and we are very happy to announce it.”
