ISS: Soyuz spacecraft docks International Space Station with Russian film crew on board

The Soyuz MS-19 spaceflight carrying a Russian film crew docked at the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday.

The crew of three, who travelled to the ISS in a Soyuz 2.1a rocket, include film director Klim Shipenko, actress Yulia Pereslid and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov.

The spaceflight had departed from Baikonur, Russia, at 11:55 local time and ran into docking issues upon arrival at the ISS, with the spacecraft having to resort to a manual docking procedure.

The film crew is set to spend 12 days filming a space-themed movie involving three Russian cosmonauts.
