"It doesn't look good" - Londoners comment on Prince Andrew settling lawsuit with Virginia Giuffre

Londoners voiced their reactions on Tuesday after Prince Andrew reached an out-of-court settlement in the sex assault lawsuit filed against him in the US by Virginia Giuffre.

The settlement - whose sum was not disclosed - spares Andrew from the trial slated for the second half of the year.

“It doesn’t look good, does it?” asked a London resident. “It’s quite telling of the truth,” another local added.

One of the victims of Jeffrey Epstein’s sex trafficking, Giuffre alleged Prince Andrew sexually abused her on three occasions, which he denies.

Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and duties by the British monarch earlier this year amid the scandal.
