Italy: Dockers protest against COVID Green Pass in Genoa

Dockers belonging to the USB (Base Union) trade union and CALP (Autonomous Collective of Port Workers) staged a protest and 48-hour strike at Genoa’s port on Monday.

About 200 protesters gathered at the premises to denounce the violations of their working rights through the mandatory Green Pass.

They also requested free swabs for COVID testing, demanding that rapid antigen tests be guaranteed for all vaccinated and unvaccinated workers in all workplaces and entirely paid for by companies.
