Italy: Snowfall blankets Rimini's famous seafront

The Adriatic coastal town of Rimini, best-known for its beaches, was blanketed with a layer of snow on Sunday.

Drone footage captured the impressive incident, with the usual seafront features of the town covered in white.

Temperatures recorded in the area on the day were as low as zero degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) as the snow fell, with cloudy conditions expected for Monday.
