‘DEMOLISHED: Tallest German Motorway Bridge Explosion’

A German motorway bridge has been demolished using 120kg of explosives which were placed in 1850 boreholes. It’s the first time an Autobahn bridge this tall has been brought down, according to a government infrastructure operator, Autobahn GmbH.

The bridge was built 55 years ago, and stood at 485 metres long and 70 metres tall.
