The German Bundestag holds a special event on Thursday, January 27, to commemorate the victims of National Socialism.

The event takes place on the 77th anniversary of the Auschwitz liberation by Soviet troops.

Bundestag President Barbel Bas, Holocaust survivor Dr hc Inge Auerbacher, and Israeli Knesset member Mickey Levy are expected to speak at the event.
