LIVE: Category 4 Hurricane Ida hits US coast

Ruptly is live from Biloxi, east of New Orleans on Sunday, August 29, as the city gets hit by the category 4 hurricane Ida.
It is expected to strike the area on the same day as Hurricane Katrina did 16 years ago - which brought colossal damage and claimed at least 1,800 lives.
Evacuations from the high-risk areas have been ordered by the city’s authorities and schools have been closed for Monday.
