LIVE: EU defence ministers hold informal meeting: press conference

A press-conference is held following the first day of the EU Defence Ministers’ informal ministerial meeting in Brest on Thursday, January 13.

The event is expected to focus of the bloc’s priorities in the field of security and defence. Several discussions are planned, including a joint working session of defence and foreign affairs ministers, as well as dinner with the NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, and a working session on contested strategic areas.

The event takes place following the NATO-Russia summit in Brussels.
