EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell and French Minister for the Armed Forces Florence Parly arrive at an informal meeting of the EU defence ministers at the Ateliers des Capucins in Brest on Wednesday, January 12.

The event is expected to focus on the bloc’s priorities in the field of security and defence and will take place on January 12-13. Several discussions are planned, including a joint working session of defence and foreign affairs ministers, as well as dinner with the NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, and a working session on contested strategic areas.

The event takes place following the NATO-Russia summit in Brussels.
