Ruptly is live from Berlin on Thursday, January 20, as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

Blinken visited Berlin this morning to meet with German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock, UK Deputy Foreign Minister James Cleverly, and French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian.

The quadrilateral meeting focused on the ongoing tensions around Ukraine’s eastern border with Russia and it comes after Baerbock’s recent visit to Moscow and Kiev, as well as Blinken’s trip to Brussels and Kiev.
