Ruptly is live from Mayfield on Wednesday, December 15 as US President Joe Biden is visiting Kentucky to survey damage left by deadly tornadoes that wreaked havoc over the weekend.
During a White House briefing on Monday in Washington DC, Biden stated that the US government will support affected areas “as long as it takes to help.”
The President also announced his plans to set up Disaster Recovery Centers in affected areas and respond to the storms’ aftermath with a common effort of state, federal, and volunteer organisations.
