Members of the parliamentary groups of the SPD, the Greens and the FDP arrive to hold a debate in the framework of a parliamentary committee on the draft legislation they want to introduce in order to curb the spread of COVID-19.

So far, the so-called Infection Protection Act, which is expiring at the end of November, has been used to regulate protective and restrictive COVID-19 measures in Germany during the pandemic.

The SPD, the Greens and the FDP are currently involved in talks to form the country’s next coalition government following September’s federal elections.
