Ruptly is live outside of the US Mission HQ in Geneva on Monday, January 10, following first day of Russia-US strategic talks.

The meeting is getting underway after weeks of escalated tensions around Ukraine’s eastern border with Russia and a build-up of military resources in the area.

The Russian delegation will be led by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, and his American counterpart Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will lead the US representatives.
