Ruptly is live from Santiago on Sunday, November 21, as Chileans head to the polls to vote in the country’s general election.

The election will include voting for a new president, who will serve a four-year term, as well as members of Congress.

Earlier this week, Chile’s Senate voted against removing the country’s current President Sebastian Pinera from office, ending an impeachment process over alleged irregularities in the sale of a mining company. Pinera is not running for re-election in the upcoming vote.
