UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson answers Prime Minister’s Questions on Ukraine in the House of Commons in London on Wednesday, March 2.

Russia launched its military operation across Ukraine in the early hours of Thursday, in a move strongly condemned by world leaders. After Russia’s actions, Europe, the US, and the UK strongly condemned and announced sanctions against Russia, targeting several Russian banks, individuals, and bilateral trade. A targeted SWIFT sanction for some Russian banks has also been introduced by the US, UK, and the EU.
