LIVE: UN Security Council holds Arria-formula meeting on accountability in Syria

The UN Security Council is holding an Arria-formula informal meeting to discuss the need for increased efforts by the council to establish full accountability for alleged international crimes committed in the Syrian Arab Republic, in New York on Monday, November 29.

The meeting will be attended by UNSC member representatives from France, Estonia, the United Kingdom and the United States, with additional co-sponsors Belgium, Canada, Germany, Georgia, Liechtenstein, the Netherlands, Qatar, Sweden and Turkey.​
