A Long March-2D rocket launched the Yunhai-1 04 satellite from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 15 October 2023, at 00:54 UTC (08:54 local time). According to official sources, the Yunhai-1 04 satellite (云海一号04) entered the preset orbit and “will provide services for the detection of the atmospheric, marine and space environments, disaster prevention and mitigation, and scientific experiments.”
