Long lines formed outside vaccination sites in, after the government announced COVID restrictions for cannabis and liquor stores in Quebec. 

From January 18 anyone wanting to buy goods from the Societe des alcools du Quebec and Societe quebecoise du cannabis will be required to show proof of vaccination.

In response the government has decided to implement further measures and is planning to introduce fines for citizens who refuse to get vaccinated.
