A number of tourists from could be seen crossing into the United States at the San Ysidro border crossing in San Diego early Monday morning.
“Crossing the border was quite easy. They ask for proof of vaccination, but it was very organised. But yeah, crossing the border was simple,” said one tourist.
Tourists began crossing into the United States at midnight with long queues expecting to last up to eight hours due to verification of vaccination from tourists.
A proof of vaccination is required from all non-US residents entering the country as the US reopened its borders on Monday November 8.
