‘Mount Sinabung Volcano Erupts in Indonesia Spewing Ash and Debris Into the Sky’

Mount Sinabung on the Indonesian island of Sumatra has erupted, sending a column of ash and debris into the sky.

The volcano is one of two currently erupting in the country. Social media video showed villages covered in ash on the slopes of Mount Sinabung.

It had been dormant before bursting into life in 2010. Several people have been killed and thousands displaced in eruptions since then.
