Pakistan: 15 dead, 16 injured after gas explosion in Karachi

At least 15 people have been killed and 16 injured following a gas explosion in Karachi on Saturday.

The blast occurred underneath a bank building and shattered windows nearby. Cars and a petrol station located not far from the bank also sustained damaged.

Police suspect the cause was likely a build-up of accumulated gas in the sewer beneath.

An investigation is underway.
