Hundreds of locals were evacuated promptly as Typhoon Rai touched down in Cagayan de Oro on Friday and led to flash floods.

Footage shows flooded homes and overflown rivers flowing at dangerous speeds. The highway nearby also had sections closed off due to floods. Locals witnessed the flooding of the area around as well.
