Poland: Belarusian sprinter Tsimanouskaya lands in Warsaw

Last Friday, the athlete criticised her coaches on social media, resulting in Belarusian officials attempting to return her to Belarus. Tsimanouskaya refused to fly home and has subsequently been granted a humanitarian visa at the Polish embassy in Tokyo.
Belarus has recently expanded crackdowns on their opposition including independent media, leading to several arrests in the country.
The International Olympic Committee has launched a formal investigation.
