Following an out-of-court settlement, the city of York council voted unanimously to strip Prince Andrew of his Freedom of the city of York.

They also called for the prince to relinquish his Duke of York title.

He was accused of sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre, being trafficked to him via Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew denied these claims.
