Russia: Krasnoyarsk warehouse worker buried under massive stacks of alcohol

A worker buried under liqueur bottles and boxes was freed and hospitalised after racks collapsed at a warehouse storing alcohol in the Oktyabrsky district of Krasnoyarsk.

Footage released by Krasnoyarsk region’s Ministry of Internal Affairs on Wednesday shows massive stacks of alcohol collapsing and completely covering the unlucky 40-year-old man.

Rescue workers managed to pull the worker out of the rubble using special equipment and transferred him to the hospital with injuries of varying severity.

The Krasnoyarsk region’s Investigative Committee has launched a probe into the collapse, with preliminary cause believed to be a violation of safety requirements.
