‘Shocking! Lebanon Anti-Lockdown Protesters Torch Government Building’

Lebanese protesters have torched a government building over strict lockdown measures.

Over 100 people were injured in Thursday’s clashes between security forces and protesters.

Thursday was the fourth night of unrest over the curfew, imposed to slow the rise in Covid cases.

Unless they are essential workers people are forbidden to leave their homes.

The 24-hour lockdown began on 14 January but was recently extended until 8 February.
