Protesters in Guatemala stormed the capital’s burning Congress building as opposition to a recent budget grows.

Thousands had gathered across the country to oppose the government’s response to the Covid 19 pandemic.

There had already been clashes with police before protestors arrived at the congress building.

The country is still recovering from the impact of hurricanes Eta and Iota.
