Spain: Barcelona fans react to news "Messi is leaving"

FC Barcelona reacted on Friday to the news that Lionel Messi was leaving the club.

The announcement about Messi’s departure was marked on the club’s Twitter page, and followed by a statement on its website, according to which the parties were unable to reach an agreement due to “financial and structural obstacles.”

The 34-year old football star has been with the club since 2003, and won 35 titles with them. “Both parties deeply regret that the wishes of the player and the club will ultimately not be fulfilled,” said Barcelona’s official statement.
