Dozens of FC Barcelona fans arrived outside the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona to welcome the squad ahead of former Barcelona star Xavi Hernandez’s debut as the club’s new coach in the Catalan derby against RCD Espanyol, Saturday.

Footage shows hundreds of fans with coloured flares lit as they cheer the team’s arrival at the stadium.

Legend of the club during his playing days, Xavi Hernandez took over FC Barcelona after the sacking of Dutchman Ronald Koeman following a string of poor results that have the team in ninth place in the Spanish championship.
