Spain: Lava hits residential, industrial buildings causing fires on La Palma

Smoke rose from houses and industrial buildings on the Spanish Canary island of La Palma on Monday as a steady flow of lava from the Cumbre Vieja volcano engulfed the buildings.

A cement plant was hit by the lava, prompting authorities to order a lockdown in the cities of El Paso and Los Llanos de Aridane.
