Spain: Two workers dead following school roof collapse in Gijon

Two people died and two others were injured at the San Vicente de Paul School in Gijon when the roof collapsed during maintenance work, on Wednesday.
Four workers were carrying out maintenance tasks on the roof of one of the school’s floors when part of the building’s roof collapsed for reasons that are still unknown.
Fire and police crews were on the scene and were able to extract two of the workers alive.
The two deceased were two cousins, aged 38 and 40, from the mining town of Mieres.
