Heavy rainfall over the past weekend has caused flooding in several Basque towns, as captured by images filmed on Monday in Bilbao and Alonsotegi.

Vehicles flooded to the roof in streets flooded with water and rivers flowing overflowing were common images caused by torrential rains, which put the Basque community on orange alert for several days.

The floods have caused numerous damages throughout the communities, leaving numerous roads cut off in the region and interrupting the railway service.
