Fans of the Tunisian national football team reacted as their team advancing to the last 16 knockout stage of the Africa Cup of Nations despite the loss to Gambia, as seen in Tunis on Thursday.

The ‘Cartagena Eagles’ fans could be seen sitting inside a cafe in the capital, watching their team’s game in the last Group F showdown.

“It was a good game, as many players were infected with COVID-19. All players are excellent, and they are almost at a same level. Refereeing is a weak point in this competition, especially affecting the Tunisian team, which has been subject to wrong decisions in two games. We managed to reach the quarter-finals, where the encounters will be tough and robust,” said a fan.
