Turkey: Drone shows Bodrum engulfed in smoke amid efforts to fight wildfires

Bodrum was seen engulfed in smoke on Sunday, as the wildfires continued to rage in the area. Local officials were quoted by media as saying that the situation has been taken under control.

Drone footage shows the extent of the forest affected. A firefighter was also seen trying to put out flames on a hill.

According to reports, tourists have been evacuated from Bodrum due to the raging flames and heavy smoke, with around 500,000 square metres of land burnt in the area.
