Israeli President Isaac Herzog met with Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed on Sunday after being received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs for a historic meeting with UAE officials.

In his first visit ever to the United Arab Emirates, Herzog discussed security and bilateral relations with the Gulf state.

The visit comes a month after Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett visited the UAE.
