Manchester City’s footballer Benjamin Mendy appeared at Chester Crown Court to face a new charge of attempted rape, in London, on Wednesday.

His co-defendant in the case, Louis Saha Matturie, could also be seen arriving at court.
Mendy faces nine charges filed against him by six women.

Besides the attempted rape, Benjamin Mendy also faces charges of seven counts of rape and one of sexual assault.
