A blaze broke out at Belfast’s Harbour Estate area on Tuesday, with dark smoke emerging into the sky.
According to local reports, the incident started at Clearway Disposals, a metal recycling facility situated on East Twin Road.
In a tweet, the East Belfast police force advised local motorists to “avoid the area” and local residents have been “asked to keep their windows closed” as emergency services respond to the fire.
