UK: Street flooded in London after thunderstorms bring torrential rain

A street was flooded in Walthamstow, east London on Saturday, after parts of the UK were lashed by torrential rain and thunderstorms.

The heavy rain left two London Underground stations, Stepney Green and Holborn, as well as a platform at Liverpool Street Station closed due to the flooding.

The Met Office has issued yellow warnings for thunderstorms for Northern Ireland, northern England, and central and southern Scotland.
