‘US Capitol Riot: TERRIFYING New Body-Cam Footage Shows Moment Police Were Attacked by Mob’

New footage has emerged from the storming of the US Capitol during the trial of a man charged with beating police officers with a hockey stick.

The images, taken from the body-camera of one of the law enforcement officers defending the building from the pro-Trump mob, show rioters trampling injured protesters in a bid to attack police.

One officer, Brian Sicknick, was beaten to death with a fire extinguisher after demonstrators breached the Capitol building. He was among five killed during the siege.

The incident led to Donald Trump’s second impeachment for ‘inciting insurrection’ after he held a rally urging his supporters to contest the vote that saw Joe Biden elected president.
