President Donald Trump made baseless claims of election ‘fraud’ in a White House statement in which he also declared victory in the presidential race.

Revelling in his wins in Texas and Florida, the president threatened to challenge the election results in the Supreme Court if the ballot doesn’t go his way.

Trump appeared before supporters early Wednesday morning and cried foul over the election results, calling the process “a major fraud on our nation.”

The Biden camp said Trump’s claims were “outrageous”, with campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon calling it: “a naked effort to take away the democratic rights of American citizens.’
