The Astroworld music festival premises in Houston remained shut on Saturday after eight people were killed and hundreds were injured after crowds rushed the stage during a Travis Scott performance on Friday night.
Two festival attendees reacted to the ‘crazy’ stage rush.
Around 50,000 people were in the crowd at the festival organised by the American rapper.
Scott was on stage when the incident occurred and reportedly stopped his act multiple times when he became aware of fans struggling near the stage.
The festival has now been cancelled and will not continue as planned on Saturday.
