USA: City workers stage protest against COVID jab mandates in LA

Protesters gathered outside Los Angeles City Hall on Monday to protest against local COVID vaccine mandates.
Demonstrators, many of them public workers, decried new rules requiring citizens to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to access a range of indoor shops and services. Protesters also expressed opposition to upcoming vaccination mandates for city employees.
The massive rally was organised by an activist group called Firefighters4Freedom.
Vaccines are being mandated at numerous levels to provide greater protection against serious illness from COVID-19 and to reduce spread of transmission.
