Uzbekistan: German army airlifts 125 people from Kabul to Tashkent

A German A400M military aircraft could be seen at the airport in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on Tuesday, on its way to bring 125 evacuees from Kabul.
The second German flight evacuating people from Kabul came after Berlin was criticised for airlifting only seven people during its first operation on Monday. The German foreign ministry had confirmed that it had not been possible to carry more people in the first evacuation flight but said future evacuation operations were likely to be less chaotic.
The Afghan refugees journey from Uzbekistan is currently being organised, the army said.
