Story of Katie - Special needs dog rescue

Katie was adopted in January of 2019 from the farm rescue in Arizona. The breeder discovered that Katie and her brother Billy were not like the other puppies. She didn’t want to euthanize them. So she reached out to the farm rescue in Arizona to ask if they could help give them a better life. We then took her to our home to begin her new life by the beach. Katie has a brain development disorder called cerebellar hypoplasia that affects her motor skills and coordination. She may be wobbly, but that doesn’t stop her from having fun and living her best life. 

Katie loves going on walks in her wagon, playing with her toys and hanging out with all of her other furry friends. She is sassy, loving and smart. We couldn’t imagine life without her.
