Croatia: Smoke billows from large fire in Trogir hills

An aeroplane can be seen circling above the hills, where the fire is located, as well as dumping water onto them in an attempt to quench the flames.
The fire reportedly broke out around 10:30 local time (08:30GMT). By Monday evening, chief fire commander Slavko Tucakovic announced to local news that the blaze was under control, thanks to the quick reaction of some 170 firefighters and 26 members of the CAF.
The Croatian Fire Brigade have announced that they will continue to work to suppress the fire into the night.
